RE your report "Copter checks on power" (November 29). You have run this story at least twice as though it was an innovation.
The old Central Electricity Generating Board did it for donkey's years.
I once had to check on a possible illegal aircraft movement. It turned out that the pilot had landed at a depot alongside the B1224 at Long Marston and logged it as an airfield. That was in 1985.
