TWO young women were sexually assaulted in separate incidents in Micklegate, York.
A police spokesman said they were hunting the same man for the offences, which took place about at 11.50pm last night.
In the first incident, a woman was walking along Micklegate before being pulled into Trinity Lane by a man and attacked.
She told detectives she could hear people walking past during the assault.
The second woman was attacked shortly afterwards near Ouse Bridge, close to the Argos store.
A police spokesman said the women were not seriously injured, but traumatised.
Trained officers were interviewing them today in the hope of getting a description of the attacker.
